Things That Made Me Happy This Week!

Hi Friends!

As this weekend comes to a close, I wanted to share a few items that I've been loving lately!!

Starting off with this super cool dress!! If you tuned into stories this past weekend, you saw that Bryan and I were in Charleston this past weekend for a wedding. Charleston is one of my favorite places to visit and I always discover something new when we are there. We left Thursday afternoon, the wedding was on Friday, and then we drove back to Charlotte first thing Saturday morning to make it in time for the kiddos soccer games. I realized that we hadn’t been to a wedding in a while so I had a fun time figuring out something different to wear. If you'd like a full rundown on everything that I wore, you can click here to check out that blog.

However, while
I was looking for links, I noticed that sizes were limited so I figured I'd link the shorter version in an equally fun colorway. This is the Hyacinth Tiered Flared Minidress in 'Coastal Ombre.' I think it'd look super cute with the belt that I wore (and bought on Amazon), the Hot Pink Clutch, and the Love Knot Earrings. And for those of you who love color as much as I do, I think the Addison Earrings would be a super fun addition as well.

Next up we have two necklaces that I keep finding myself going back to. The Golden Hour Necklace is beautiful on its own, and so easy to pair with almost any other necklace in our permanent collection, including the Bella Luna Gemstone Necklace. You guys know my love for turquoise, and the hues of this necklace just make my heart so happy ... and if you're looking for a cute, safe way to store your jewelry, the Love Wins Trinket Dish, which is handmade here in Charlotte, is perfect.

Onto ... decor!! Last week on stories I shared this acrylic book holder. Backstory: On a recent trip, I popped into a store that had something similar, but I couldn't justify paying $200 for it. Do we love Amazon, or do we love Amazon? I found an (almost) exact dupe for a fraction of the price, and it's currently on our buffet!! I think it's such a unique way to display a book, so of course I wanted to share it with you. On the same note, you guys know my love for coffee table books, and this book is now available on our website!!

Couple more items!! As much as this collage screams summer, we are inching towards the cooler months, so I wanted to include these super cool mugs made by Double M Pottery. Aside from how cute they are, one thing I love about handmade products is that no two are the same, so no matter which one you pick, it's totally unique to you. The colors of these mugs reminded me of a print that we also have in our home by Daniella Manini (@daniellamanini_art). I love her work!!  And if you're in the market for a new print, you'll be amazed by how many destinations/locations she features on her website. Another piece that felt perfect for this collage is the background of this post, and by an artist named Sarah Martinez (@sarahmartinezart). I love her style, and fun fact ... if you've seen anything of ours with a watercolor background, that was painted by Sarah!!

Last but not least, I had to include another recent purchase ... my sage green sambas!! These shoes are such a fun throwback for me, and I love that I get to experience them in a new colorway. I think they'll look so cute with light denim and a simple white tee.

I hope you guys loved this weeks' roundup!! As always, if you end up purchasing, or styling any of the items listed/linked above, be sure to tag me at @erinmcdermott1

xoxo,

Erin
