October Outfit Round up

You guys have been loving the outfits I've been putting together on Instagram so I thought I would put all the links and inspiration in one place!

Travel Outfits - these are a few of my "go-to" favorites I packed for my recent trip to California and bring on almost every weekend trip!

This Able Jean Jacket is my tried and true - I've had it for 6 years and wear it all the time.

This denim shirt is an investment... no doubt, but is my absolute favorite. I will say that I've certainly worn it over 1000 times. It's easy to pack and great to wear on the plane. The length is perfection and works seamlessly with jewelry, plus it's easy to dress up or down. I usually knot it in the front and wear it with a long skirt and slides. Sometimes I keep it open and wear a bathing suit underneath. I also like to keep it open and wear a cute take underneath. The more you wash it, the better it looks.

I always travel with this t-shirt (I have it in three colors) it is THE BEST tee under sweaters because it's fitted and NEVER loses it's shape. If you are wearing an itchy sweater, this same tee comes in long sleeve too. I love the way it feels and stretches and it's the BEST staple for only $28! I also like to wear it with my highrise jeans and long skirts!

My birks. Some people love them, some people hate them. I love comfort and I haven't taken these off since I bought them. Go for it!!! They work perfectly with jeans and a sweater... making for the easiest fall uniform!

While we're on the shoe topic... I'm a cozy sock junkie. I keep a pair in my travel bag for the plane and sometimes I whop them out in a chilly hotel room or in the car. Something about traveling with a cozy pair of socks that makes me feel close to home. These are some of my favorites.

There is something about matching top/bottom pj's that makes me feel somewhat put together. I've tried them all and these Eberjay pj's last the longest and are so soft and snuggly, you'll definitely hit the snooze button more than once! When I'm traveling, I'll keep the top on and throw on some leggings or jeans and head out for coffee. Price point is on the steeper side for PJ's but I promise these are worth it. They also make a great gift for a brand new (or totally exhausted) mama!!

I'm always on the search for the perfect white t-shirt and this is definitely in my top three. It's $34, I love the length and it has the perfect size v-neck. It comes in a bunch of colors - I also have it in the olive/grey color. It's not see through, doesn't stretch and washes so well.

These Mother Denim jeans were the only jeans I brought on my trip and I've been living in them. Although they aren’t inexpensive, you’ll end up making it worth it with the price per wear. Jeans are tricky and I feel like we all probably have a handful of jeans that fit but never fit “just right” … I finally threw in the towel and bought a pair that fit just right. I also love that they are cropped they look great with these vejas sneakers that are my go-to.

Another pair of pants that are usually on rotation are these Spanx white jeans. I have them in an olive color too and they are the most comfortable pants. They are so stretchy, never lose the stretch and flattering on everyone. If you are in between sizes, I would size up.

When I'm traveling I always try to find a gift to bring back home for Bryan and the girls. I love the brand Faherty for Bryan and saw they had a store in Newport Beach. I found this button down for Bryan and it's made from super soft and stretchy material. It's SO good... I actually ended up wearing it on the plane home and it was so comfortable, almost like wearing a cozy sweatshirt. If you want to get a head start on holiday shopping, this button down is perfect - great for dads, brothers, husbands, sons... etc. I would say it's true-to-size but size down if they are in between sizes because there is a lot of stretch.

Outfit and Jewelry Pairings

Our New York Nights Necklace would look so pretty with this soft orchid sweater - I love the neckline on this sweater and the necklace would look so beautiful with it. Pair it with the Weekend Getaway Bundle and Starlight Studs and you are all set!

A few years ago @beth.chappo posted about this bodysuit and I bought it on a whim. It has turned out to be a staple in my closet and I just bought another. It's the stretchiest jersey material and so comfortable. It's one size fits all and it fits almost everyone. It's so stretchy you can actually climb into through the neck and it still bounces back. Perfect for under sweaters or worn with pants/skirts. The best part about it is that you don't have to tuck it in like a black t-shirt. I wore it with this jean skirt from Sea New York. I love the acid wash and raw hem. I wear it with flops or sandals in the summer and boot and sneakers in the winter. I paired my outfit with the North Star Necklace, Favorite Gold Hoops, and The Tribeca Bracelets which you guys sold out as soon as they launched!

After I posted about Bryan's shirt, tons of you told me about the dress for women in the same material - I will be LIVING in this dress! It would look great with sneakers or boots... you could even wear it with a t-shirt or tank and keep it unbuttoned with jeans. I love the olive color... you know me, I'll be rocking it with my Birks and cozy socks. It would look great with the Citrus and Grapefruit Bundle and Coast of Italy Necklace

Kimberly's Try-on

Y'all know Kimberly, she is my event extraordinaire! Every time I see her she looks so cute and I ask her where she got her outfit and she always shocks me by saying somewhere totally affordable but looks like designer! I think it's an art so I had Kimberly come by the studio to try on some of her favorite pieces!

Her first outfit was perfect for fall! Her sweater was from Target and she went to Altered State to shop for her 13 year old daughter and came out with these awesome pants. All for under $100 together. She paired this with the heart toggle necklace and Layla Cuff.

She took the same pants and paired them with this target sweater - I love the colors in this one. We switched up the jewelry here and added The Gold Essential Necklace and the Relax and Rest Bracelet

I'm a huge fan of a utility jacket and she brought this awesome star utility jacket from Target. She bought it last year, but this is the same jacket without the stars, which could be more versatile for some of you! She paired with some jeans and a white-t shirt from Boem which is a local store in Charlotte. She added the Layers of Love necklace to this outfit and it was the perfect pop of color!
