Charleston Trip

Bryan and I recently took a quick trip to Charleston for Bryan’s work event. I always to love being in Charleston – so much beauty and inspiration all around you!!

We stayed at The Loutrel… last time we stayed at The Spectator and they are owned by the same people and right next door to each other.

You know how I feel about a hotel lobby…inspiration everywhere! At The Spectator, when you walk in there is the most amazing painting by Sally King Benedict. I love all the original artwork throughout both hotels and the bar at the Spectator is really cool too… I love the recessed lighting in the bookcase. And check out this awesome wallpaper behind the welcome desk!

I love Jenny Keenan Design – she did all of the interior design for the hotels.

The first night we went to Leon's for dinner... yummy!

The next day, I wore the Santorini Sunset Bag, the Coco Necklace layered with the Triple Layer Everything Necklace, the Amalfi Coast Hoops, and the Be Kind Bracelet Bundle. I brought a chambray button up to layer over my dress – I always love that look!

I filled our Jewelry Case with all my delicate jewelry and also packed the Paris Café Necklace, and the Paris Café Earrings for the event the first night we got there. In typical fashion I shoved it all in my Favorite Tote, which would have been perfect for Sullivan’s Island if we made it… instead I headed to King street for the day to explore and shop.

First stop was Faherty – some really cute clothes for men and women… California coastal vibes.. my favorite! If you like the vibe of Aviator Nation and Faherty, you would probably like Marine Layer too!

One of my favorites that is only local to Charleston is Small by Hampden. There was such amazing color inspiration in their sister store, Hampden, too – I wanted to turn all of those colors into jewelry!

Of course I had to stop at Basic Kitchen for an oat milk vanilla latte and lunch fuel. Their bathroom has the cutest map that you can pin where you have been!

After a day full of exploring we stopped at Leon's for dinner and headed back home...It was the best little getaway!

Thanks for following along... xoxo Erin
